Adopt-An-Animal

Our Adopt-An-Animal Program is designed to give friends of Blue Ridge the opportunity to support their favorite Nature Center animal. Your contribution directly supports your adopted animal with all proceeds going toward care, feeding costs and providing habitat improvements for your new family member. Anyone from individuals, families, schools or scout groups can adopt. An adoption can make a great gift too! Think of the appreciation and pride a family member or your class will feel knowing your unique gift is caring for their favorite Nature Center animal. Adopting one of our animals is TAX DEDUCTIBLE too!

Our Adopt-An-Animal Program is an annual program and your adoption will be for the period of one year. Of course, the animal you adopt will stay in our care and custody so that other visitors can enjoy them too!

Contribution Levels and Incentives:

Animal Sponsor: $35 minimum
1. Adoption certificate
2. Fact Sheet on sponsored animal
3. Name recognition in and free subscription 
   to the Blue Ridge Blaze
4. A listing on the Adopt-An-Animal Honor 
    Roll at the Nature Center

Animal Steward: $45 minimum
1. Same as Animal Sponsor
2. 5x7 color photo of their sponsored animal

Animal Parent: $65 minimum
1. Same as Animal Steward 
2. BROEC t-shirt (long or short sleeve)
3. Personalized picture of you with your animal
